OF BREEZE AND WATCHER

Posted on

We are delighted to introduce Plymouth-based photographer, Trudy Roden as the first recipient of The Hawthorn Bursary, an annual award managed by The Dartmoor Collective and given to a third year BSc Photography student at Plymouth University.

Of Breeze and Watcher is the result of this project – a high quality photozine containing a collection of beautiful, intimate images of Dartmoor that exude stillness and peacefulness, a personal investigation of solitude, confidence and re-emergence through a ‘phototherapeutic’ approach.

The zine is now available to buy from our online shop and is the third in our series of compact, affordable, high quality photobooks, showcasing the work of visual artists working on Dartmoor.

You can read more about the project in Stephen’s interview with Trudy on our Features page.
